It was great to see my book Life of Action holding a coffee table spot at 87Eleven Action Design HQ, the base of the world’s premium film and television stunt and action company. The team posted this picture of their new Cold Steel training weapons and the book is seen (with Scott Adkins on the cover) casting a watchful eye.

The book features extensive interviews with 87Eleven co-founders Chad Stahelski and David Leitch who are now embarking on their increasingly busy paths as filmmakers, responsible for the John Wick franchise and Atomic Blonde. The book also speaks to regular 87Eleven collaborators J.J. Perry, Sam Hargrave and Monique Ganderton.

This team has an excellent reputation as one of the best stunt and action teams in the world. Their credits to date include The Expendables franchise, Conan the Barbarian, The Hunger Games, The Wolverine, The Avengers, Captain America and many more. They began their careers much earlier, however, and famously founded the team on the set of Zack Snyder’s 300 back in 2006. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength as the best in the business.

In the meantime, for news on 87Eleven’s work, follow them on Facebook and Twitter!
