Kung Fu Movie Guide Christmas Podcast 2021

Continuing the end of year tradition, I returned to the Kung Fu Movie Guide Podcast for a special festive show to wrap up 2021. Having been in lockdown this time last year, completing our conversation remotely for the first time, it was a joy to be back in the room with my friend and podcast host Ben Johnson.

In these uncertain times, at least it’s been a great year for martial arts-related movies and television! In fact, this was such an epic conversation, it’s split into two parts for the first time ever!

In part one, Ben and I discuss the fight film news which dominated the headlines in 2021 and pay tribute to the icons we lost. Ben also shared some recorded messages from friends of the show, including Scott Adkins, Joey Ansah, Richard Norton and many more, and as we like to do, we unwrap a few Christmas presents!

In part two, we each break down our personal top five fight films of the year and share some reader comments. We also look ahead to the big martial arts movies arriving in 2022 and what we have to look forward to.
