Accident Man Panel at MCM London Comic Con

It was a pleasure to host the Accident Man panel at MCM London Comic Con. We screened the world premiere of the trailer and I discussed the movie at length with leading man, co-writer and producer Scott Adkins, actors Ross O'Hennessy (Game of Thrones), Nick Moran (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Perry Benson (This is England) and producer Ben Jacques (Eliminators). We had a brilliant time and the film looks fantastic. The trailer should be online soon so everyone else can check it out. Thank you so much to the panel, the Comic Con team and everyone who came out to support.

The whole weekend was fun and the atmosphere was electric. Donnie Yen was of course another major draw and it's very exciting to see how popular he's becoming, not only from classic Hong Kong work but his Hollywood credits in Star Wars: A Rogue One Story and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. It'll be exciting to see what comes next.

From the press release: "Accident Man was a character destined for the big screen and has been a movie in the making for the past quarter of century. Starting life in the cult classic comic book series of the same name, created by graphic novel legends Pat Mills (2000AD) & Tony Skinner and now adapted for the screen by Stu Small and Scott Adkins, who also steps up in the title role. The movie is helmed by veteran action director Jesse V. Johnson (Savage Dog, Triple Threat) and co-stars Ray Stevenson (The Punisher: War Zone), Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode I), Michael Jai White (Spawn), Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) David Paymer (Drag Me to Hell) and Amy Johnstone (Lady Bloodfight).

For Scott Adkins this is a lifelong dream project. Having first read the comic book at age fifteen and always believing Accident Man would make a great movie he harboured the dream until he was eventually in a position to bring the project to the screen. He optioned the property with is own money and co-wrote the screenplay with his childhood friend Stu Small in the hope that he could fulfil a lifetime ambition. “Accident Man is and always has been my favourite comic book character. He’s very cynical and very British. There is a very hard edge to the character, very dark but with loads of humour to balance it out. He’s a classic anti-hero and with the success of Kingsman, Deadpool and other 'R' rated movies I feel its a perfect time to unleash him on the cinematic landscape.”

Produced by Sony Pictures, in conjunction with LINK Entertainment and Six Demon Films, Accident Man was shot entirely on location London and the surrounding Boroughs. In 2017, let Mike Fallon, with his quick fists and a rapier tongue (and some of the greatest fight scenes you’ll have ever seen on screen), take you a roller coaster ride through the criminal underworld of our nation’s capital. Fans of action, martial arts, drama, thriller and comedy alike, will all find a home with Accident Man." Accident Man is due for release in 2017 with more news to follow, stay tuned!
